In accordance with previous identification, we validated that c-Myc knockdown induces G0/G1 phase arrest in NPC cells and that miR-141 can significantly reverse the tumor suppressive effects of c-Myc knockdown partially through restoring the expression of cyclin D1 and p27 in vitro and in vivo via the PTEN/AKT pathway. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
