The SNPs rs55975541 in CDC42BPG [72], and rs11231825/rs9734313 in SLC22A12/NRXN2 [46,49,50,72–77], and rs10897526 in MAP4K2 [72] on chromosome 4 were previously reported to be associated with hyperuricemia or gout. This evidence concerns the gene NRXN2 and hyperuricemia.
