CDKN2B and acute myeloid leukemia: Christiansen reported that incidence of methylation of CDKN2B is less in AML M5 and Wong reported that frequency of methylation in M2 and M4 is higher than the other subtypes and he showed CDKN2B methylation status highly correlated with morphologic disease stage (25, 27, 28) but further studies need to find the correlation between FAB classification and CDKN2B methylation.
