Solid tumors (e.g., bladder and BC) and hematologic cancers (e.g., acute myeloid leukemia and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma) overexpress CD47 causing an inhibitory effect over macrophages and other myeloid cells and high levels of CD47 correlate with poor prognosis [69]. Here, CD47 is linked to hematopoietic and lymphoid cell neoplasm.
