Similarly, the TT genotype of MTHFR-rs1801133 polymorphism was found to be associated with increased breast cancer risk in homozygote (TT vs. CC, OR: 2.39, 95% CI: 1.09–5.22, p = 0.028); and recessive (TT vs. CC + CT, OR: 2.49, 95% CI: 1.17–5.29, p = 0.017) models, but the p values could not withstand the Bonferroni correction. Here, MTHFR is linked to breast carcinoma.
