WSB-1 has been previously reported to be upregulated at the gene and protein level in tumour vs. normal tissues for cancer types, such as osteosarcoma and lung adenocarcinoma.9,13 However, in our study the trends observed indicated a decrease in WSB1 expression in patient samples, and particularly in the more aggressive tumour types. The gene discussed is WSB1; the disease is lung adenocarcinoma.
