The salient features of our findings are: (1) BMSC reduced the levels of LC3-II and the degradation of p62 in HD-intoxicated rats; (2) BMSC had no effect on Beclin 1, but promoted activation of mTOR/ULK1 pathway; (3) Inhibition of mTOR pathway blocked the inhibitory effects of BMSC on autophagic activation. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and Huntington disease.
