The 94 protein-coding CHi-C target genes are highly enriched for these cancer genes (14 observed, Hypergeometric P = 2.02 × 10−6) and include well-documented cancer genes (CCND1, CDKN2A, CDKN2B, MYC, MAP3K1, ESR1 and FGFR2), as well as relatively uncharacterised examples (TET2, KLF4, MLLT10, FADD, TBX3, PAX9 and ZFP36L1). The gene discussed is PAX9; the disease is cancer.
