We further investigated the effect of TUSC7 on biological behavior of ESCC cells (EC9706 and KYSE30), and found overexpression of TUSC7/inhibition of miR-224 repressed proliferation of ESCC cells, promoted cell apoptosis, and inhibited chemotherapy resistance of ESCC cells by regulating DESC1. Here, TUSC7 is linked to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
