LTα3–TNFR signaling, not LTβR, was critical for the generation of HEV-like vasculature expressing peripheral node addressin (PNAd) in models of lung cancer and melanoma (108) studied by Peske et al. The PNAd+ vasculature was critical for infiltration of naïve T cell into tumors. This evidence concerns the gene NTAN1 and lung cancer.
