Although these IC50 values were slightly higher than those of CsA (10.243 and 7.902 μM, respectively), as the positive control inhibitor of CyPJ, they were strikingly lower than those of 5-FU (177.238 and 238.528 μM, respectively), a conventional clinical drug (Table 2), suggesting that ZX-J-19 potently inhibits HCC tumor cell growth in vitro.
