GPR143 and ocular albinism: Such inference is supported by many studies, though not related to the field of BC, describing the presence of functional native GPCRs at various organelles, such as mitochondria (e.g., angiotensin AT1R, cannabinoid CB1R), endosomes (e.g., adrenergic β2R, BK-B2R), lysosomes (e.g., cannabinoid CB1R, ocular albinism OA1R or GPR143), endolysosomes (e.g., L-α-lysophosphatidylinositol GPR55) and the endoplasmic reticulum (e.g., estrogen GPR30, vasopressin V2R) [53–56].
