Based on representative human ovarian cancer cell lines, A2780 (p53WT, [21]), OVCAR-3 (p53-mutant R248Q, [22, 23]) and SKOV-3 (p53-null, [22, 24]), we generated CXCR2-negative (AA, OVA, SKA) and positive (ACXCR2, OVCXCR2, SKCXCR2) cells via stable transfection with empty vector and CXCR2 vector, respectively. The gene discussed is CXCR2; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
