Genetic studies have demonstrated the association of TNFAIP3 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) with multiple human diseases (7), such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) (8–10), rheumatoid arthritis (RA) (9), and Crohn’s disease (CD) (11, 12). Here, TNFAIP3 is linked to rheumatoid arthritis.
