GLI1 and neoplasm: Consistently, compared to mice engrafted with empty lentiviruses, mice engrafted with wild-type SuFu showed a reduced tumour growth rate, a reduced tumour volume (at the end point of experiment) (Fig. 6c–e), a decreased labelling of Ki67 and Gli1 (the final downstream target of Hh signalling) (Fig. 6f, g), and an increased expression of the Gli3 repressor form (Fig. 6h).
