RHOF and Global developmental delay: Specifically, these were ADCY7, which is involved in the regulation of neural networks [42]; GNAO1, which is the predominant guanine nucleotide-binding protein found in the brain and mutations of which have been associated with severe developmental delays [43]; PRKCZ, which promotes axon differentiation and is involved in neuronal survival, differentiation, outgrowth, and synaptic plasticity [44, 45]; and RHOF, which is essential in the beginning of neuronal dendritic spine formation and also promotes neurite retraction [46].
