Pearson correlation analysis showed a significant positive correlation of plasma protein concentrations with total protein amounts in the tumor tissues for CRP (r = 0.974; p = 4.63×10−9, n = 14), C9 (r = 0.813; p = 4.07×10−4, n = 14), LRG1 (r = 0.802; p = 5.60×10−4, n = 14), and SERPINA3 (r = 0.597; p = 2.42×10−2, n = 14) (Table 5, S3 Fig).
