Other alternative diagnoses, based on the appearance of the lesion (each in one patient), included actinic keratosis, amelanotic melanoma, angioma, bite, CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorder, fixed drug eruption, irritated nevus, Kaposi sarcoma, lichen planus, lichenoid pigmented purpuric dermatosis, solar purpura, squamous cell carcinoma in situ, and vasculitis. Here, TNFRSF8 is linked to lymphoproliferative syndrome.
