A previous study on signaling in SLL/CLL cells [20] reported significantly higher basal phosphorylation levels of PLCγ2 (pY759), p44/42 MAPK (pT202/Y204), p38 MAPK (pT180/Y182), NF-κB p65 (pS529), STAT5 (pY694) and STAT6 (pY641) in these cells compared to normal B cells. This evidence concerns the gene PLCG2 and B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
