H&E staining of liver tumors further confirmed the inhibitory role of CASZ1 in HCC intrahepatic metastasis, because tumors in HCCLM3CASZ1 group often had expansive tumor growth fronts with less invasive borders, whereas tumors from PLC/PRF/5shCASZ1 group exhibited invasive growth fronts with irregular tumor borders and tumor microsatellites (Fig. 4d).
