Our data showed that the extracellular Ca2+ influx in HCC cells was significantly inhibited by both two TRP channel blockers, CAI and SKF96365, whereas the VGCC channel blockers, verapamil and diltiazem had no effect on the TNFα-mediated Ca2+ influx in HCC cells (Fig. 2b, c), suggesting that TRP channels may participate in the process of TNFα-mediated Ca2+ influx in HCC cells.
