Polarisation of ezrin-GFP and F-actin was also observed in detached cells from different tumour entities, including melanoma, colorectal adenocarcinoma, cervical adenocarcinoma, hepatocellular carcinoma and breast invasive ductal carcinoma (Fig. 3a and Supplementary Table 1), demonstrating that sc polarity constitutes a general mechanism by which detached tumour cells of different entities maintain their polarity. Here, EZR is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
