CD8A and melanoma: To further clarify the role of T-cell immunity in CQ-mediated antitumor effect, we adoptively transferred CD45.2+ OT-I T cells to OVA-B16 melanoma-bearing CD45.1+ C57BL/6 mice treated with or without CQ, and found that CQ treatment enhanced the tumor growth inhibition mediated by the adoptively transferred CD8+ T cells, which however was blocked by concomitant macrophage depletion (Fig. 2i).
