LncRNA MEG3 overexpression induced cisplatin sensitivity of NSCLC cells by regulating miR-21-5p/SOX7 axis (Wang et al., 2017). LncRNA AK001796 increased the resistance of NSCLC cells to cisplatin through regulating cell apoptosis and cell proliferation (Liu et al., 2017). LncRNAs may serve as potential diagnostic biomarkers or therapeutic targets in lung cancer (Gong et al., 2017; Xue et al., 2017). Here, MEG3 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
