Additionally, Xue et al. explored the molecular mechanisms of NSC319726, a newly discovered anticancer small-molecule drug, in ovarian cancer by bioinformatics analyses and found that it might play a role against ovarian cancer via targeting genes involved in the oocyte meiosis pathway, such as ribosomal protein S6 kinase A6 (RPS6KA6), B-cell CLL/lymphoma 6 (BCL6), forkhead box O3 (FOXO3), cyclin B1 (CCNB1), and cell division cycle 20 (CDC20) [16, 17]. This evidence concerns the gene RPS6KA6 and ovarian carcinoma.
