Specifically, genetic variants of CYP2C8 have been associated with an increased risk of myocardial infarction 35, paclitaxel‐induced neuropathy 36, and bisphosphonate‐related osteonecrosis of the jaw in multiple myeloma 37 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma 38.
