RA patients with osteoporosis showed the highest levels of senescent CD4+ T-cells [4.4% (0.2–39.7)] as compared to RA patients with osteopenia [1.4% (0–41.2)] and patients with normal bone mass [0.5% (0.1–8.6), Figure S1A in Supplementary Material]. This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and rheumatoid arthritis.
