As expected, NCoR2 over-expression resulted in a significant decrease in PXR activity (-35%, -50% and -56% in HNO97, HNO124 and HNO210 cells, respectively) (Fig 3E–3G), further confirming a major role of NCoR2 in the regulation of this nuclear receptor in HNSCC. The gene discussed is NCOR2; the disease is head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
