Figures 4–7 show that the expression of Gbp2b/Gbp1 and/or Gbp5 has increased after infection in at least one organ of each of the tested mice, including the resistant ones (STS, CcS-5, O20, B10, OcB-9, and OcB-43), which had no or only minimal and transient clinical symptoms. The gene discussed is GBP1; the disease is infection.
