Further analysis with Gene Ontology (GO) and KEGG pathway indicated that these DEGs were enriched for GO terms of multiple biological processes, molecular functions and signaling pathways in PITA-depleted and PISA-depleted cells (Supplementary information, Figure S6H), and KEGG pathways for protein processing in the endoplasmic reticulum, Alzheimer’s disease, MAPK signaling pathway in PITA-depleted cells; protein processing in endoplasmic reticulum, p53 signaling pathway and osteoclast differentiation in PISA-depleted cells (Supplementary information, Figure S6I). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease.
