WNT5A and neoplasm: Intriguingly, the effects observed by different authors appear to be totally contrary to each other: while some conclude that Wnt5a and its co‐receptor Ror2 are involved in epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition, invasion, and metastasis (Gujral et al., 2014; Ren et al., 2011; Shojima et al., 2015), others conclude that Wnt5a inhibits metastasis (Jiang et al., 2013; Säfholm et al., 2008) and block expansion of tumor‐initiating cells (Borcherding et al., 2015).
