The Wnt/β-catenin pathway is most often studied with CRC and includes CTNBB1 (that codes β-catenin), APC, SMAD3 and SMAD4, c-myc, c-jun, CCND1, TCF7L2, TP53, MMP7, and MAP3K7, all genes that have been associated with CRC [1, 16–22]. This evidence concerns the gene MYC and colorectal carcinoma.
