NEAT1 and Sepsis: NEAT1 levels in PBMCs were significantly higher (3.76 ± 0.71-fold) in patients with sepsis than in the control group, although SIRS group NEAT1 levels are higher (1.64 ± 0.43-fold) than those of the control group, but significantly lower than those of the sepsis group (P < 0.01; Figure 1(a)).
