It has been demonstrated that TR4 plays significant roles in normal spermatogenesis [11], normal ovarian function [12], cerebellum development [13], glucose and lipid metabolism [14, 15], oxidative stress [16], DNA damage/repair [17], as well as HCC progression via binding to DR1 on the HBV core promoter to suppress its transcriptional regulation [18, 19]. The gene discussed is NR2C2; the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma.
