LEP and hydrops fetalis: HF-fed daughters weighed more in adulthood (week 9, p = 0.041) (Fig 1), had higher serum levels of leptin (p = 0.05) (Fig 2), consumed more food at 14 weeks of age (p = 0.032) (Fig 3B), and had even more brown fat (p = 0.001) if they had HF mothers rather than LF mothers (Fig 2).
