OGG1 and ovarian cancer: Based on this study and analyses for endometrial and ovarian cancer, we recommend follow-up of interactions between acrylamide intake and genetic polymorphisms in CYP1B1, CYP11A1, the HSD3B1/B2 gene cluster, CYP2E1, GSTs, hOGG1, AKR1C1, NQO1, GPX1, XPC and MGC12965, and additional research on the possible effect of acrylamide on progesterone metabolism in humans.
