GSTM1 and ovarian carcinoma: Previously, we investigated acrylamide intake and gene interactions for endometrial and ovarian cancer risk, and we observed indications for interaction between acrylamide intake and SNPs in among other cytochrome P450, family 2, subfamily E, polypeptide 1 (CYP2E1) and the deletions of the genes glutathione s-transferase M1 and T1 (GSTM1 and GSTT1) [7, 8].
