Using MSP, a methylated RBBP8 promoter was detected in two (RT4 and RT112) out of four bladder cancer cell lines which derived from stage 2 and higher grade bladder tumors [41], while RBBP8 was unmethylated in normal urothelial cells (UROtsa) (Fig. 3b). The gene discussed is RBBP8; the disease is urinary bladder neoplasm.
