The results of a 12-week clinical trial of teneligliptin revealed that at week 12 the mean percentage inhibition of plasma DPP-4 activity (measured pre-dose) following teneligliptin 20 and 40 mg once daily was 61.1% and 73.3%, respectively, in Japanese patients with type 2 diabetes [21].
