Finally, we found that 26 out of 538 validated genes (AXIN2, BRCA1, CCNB1, CCND2, CDKN1A, CDKN2A, CSNK2A1, FOXO1, GRB2, HDAC6, NFKB1, NTRK3, PPP2R4, PPP2R1B, PPP2R2A, PTEN, RARA, RASA1, RB1, SOCS3, TGFB1, TGFB2, TGFBR2, TNF, TP53, and TP73) were targets of miRNAs included in the DLK1-DIO3 cluster, which have been proposed to have a functional role as tumor suppressors (Supplementary Table S2). This evidence concerns the gene CDKN1A and neoplasm.
