ALB and alkaline phosphatase measurement: We found that RDW and creatinine significantly increased the risk of AP mortality; in contrast, albumin was shown as a protective factor (RDW: P = 0.001, OR = 2.97, 95% CI for OR: 1.54–5.72; creatinine: P = 0.005, OR = 1.03, 95% CI for OR: 1.01–1.04; albumin: P = 0.032, OR = 0.92, 95% CI for OR: 0.85–0.99).
