Ratios associated with increased cardiovascular disease risk were also negatively correlated with the HCV RNA:apoB/apoA-1 ratio (r = − 0.490; p = 0.015), TG/HDL-C ratio (r = − 0.450; p = 0.031) and total cholesterol/HDL-C ratio (r = − 0.450; p = 0.027).
