All patients were determined to be de novo erythrodermic with intense pruritus and showed at least three laboratorial characteristics of SS, including cell counts>1000/mm3; T cell clonality skin and blood; and CD4/CD8 ratios >10%, CD4+CD26– ratios >40% and CD4+CD7– ratios >30%. The gene discussed is DPP4; the disease is synovial sarcoma.
