We chose and studied three SNPs based on the Genome-wide association study of our supervisor’s project team and focused on the association between CHRNA5-CHRNA3-CHRNB4 single nucleotide polymorphism rs6495309, rs1948 and rs8040868 and the risk of lung cancer in population, smokers and nonsmokers. The gene discussed is CHRNA5; the disease is lung carcinoma.
