Treatment with DS-3032b stabilized TP53 and selectively induced CDKNA1, BAX and MDM2 expression in neuroblastoma cells with wildtype TP53. TP53 accumulation and subsequent TP53 target gene activation have also been demonstrated in neuroblastoma cells with wildtype TP53 following treatment with other MDM2 inhibitors, including RG7112, RG7388, MI-63, NDD0005 and MI-773 [18–23]. The gene discussed is BAX; the disease is neuroblastoma.
