Next, both gene lists were crossed, which showed that only 3 genes, termed ATP1A1 (ATPase Na+/K+ transporting subunit alpha1), BCL11B (B-cell CLL/lymphoma 11B), and GLG1 (Golgi glycoprotein 1) were both strongly and highly significantly overexpressed in Ewing sarcoma compared to all other tumor entities (Figure 1B). The gene discussed is ATP1A1; the disease is Ewing sarcoma.
