The mean value of adiponectin serum levels was significantly lower, whereas the mean values of lipocalin-2, chemerin and resistin serum levels were significantly higher in psoriasis patients than that in healthy controls (Figure 2; Supplementary Figures 18–21, Adiponectin: SMD = -0.90, 95% CI -1.78 to -0.02; Lipocalin-2: SMD = 0.74, 95% CI 0.46 to 1.02; Chemerin: SMD = 3.55, 95% CI 0.86 to 6.24; Resistin: SMD = 1.97, 95% CI 0.58 to 3.37). This evidence concerns the gene LCN2 and psoriasis.
