Interestingly, a recent report demonstrated that blockage of LPS-induced inflammatory responses inhibits the activity of the PI3K/Akt-NF-κB pathway but induces activation of the Nrf2 pathway [33], which is thought to be correlated with mechanism for chemoresistance in many cancer types [34–39], including breast cancer [40, 41].
