Utilizing a high-throughput proliferative screen with 4 ccRCC cell lines, we identified 5 compounds that produced a >40% decrease in proliferation in at least 2/4 cell lines: SSI-1, SSI-2, SSI-3, SSI-4, and SetA.68 (-9.34 kcal/mol) (Supplementary Figure 2a). The gene discussed is SOCS3; the disease is nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
