Although remodeling of OXPHOS and glycolysis has been frequently observed in multiple cancer types, we analyzed the expression of genes involved in OXPHOS (83 genes), the TCA cycle (16 genes), and glycolysis (10 genes) in PDAC samples from the TCGA database (Supplementary Figure S2A), and we found that the expression levels of two glycolytic genes (HK2 and PKM2), one TCA cycle gene (IDH1), and two OXPHOS-related genes (COX6B2 and NDUFAB1) were positively correlated with histological grade score (Supplementary Figure S2B-F). This evidence concerns the gene NDUFAB1 and cancer.
