Biasucci et al. investigated coronary ischemic events in a follow-up of patients with stable angina pectoris of CHD over a year, and found that the CRP concentrations were < 2.6, 2.6–8.6, and > 8.6 mg/L in the blood of patients with incidence rates of coronary ischemic events of 13%, 42%, and 67%, respectively (normal values < 3 mg/L) [91]. The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is coronary artery disorder.
